Welcome to AB Gallery! My name is Adith Busetto. I am originally from Peru and am an eternal admirer of the majestic Amazon. It is with great joy that I share with you the powerful stories of its people, cultures, and natural world as interpreted through the eyes of some of its visual artists. My site strives to give you access to the vitality and profound beauty of the Amazon and, in turn, to give these talented artists access to you. In their own words, you can read about their work.
A Passion Project
In 2014, as an anniversary present, I gave my husband Giacomo one of Grippa’s paintings. When Giacomo passed, I spent hours and hours immersed in the painting, feeling the embrace of my jungle, where there is seemingly endless life. With this reminder of natural regeneration, I began to feel a rebirth of my own. I know that the Amazon and its people deserve to be appreciated by the world, and my own experience showed me that for the mutual survival of humanity and place, there is an urgency in this knowing.
